Timespinner is a beautiful crafted story-driven adventure game from Lunar Ray Games. Travel back in time to change fate itself. Join timekeeper Lunais on her quest for revenge against the empire that killed her family, using time-bending powers to explore a vast, connected world.

With her family murdered in front of her and the ancient Timespinner device destroyed, Lunais is suddenly transported into a unknown world, stranded with seemingly no hope of return. Using her power to control time, Lunais vows to take her revenge on the evil Lachiem Empire, but sometimes the course of history isn’t quite as black and white as it seems.

Explore an intricate, connected world with beautifully drawn and detailed pixel art environments. Traverse between the barren present and luscious past of Lachiem, collecting elemental magic orbs and combining their power to destroy enemies with blades and spells. Befriend mysterious creatures called Familiars, such as the adorable dream dragon Meyef, and train them to aid you in battle. Test your skills and timing with intense boss battles, and you venture forth to take on the Emperor himself.

Stop time to evade foes, use them as platforms and solve puzzles. Take on challenging boss battles with an emphasis on skill, timing and dodging. Locate hidden areas and treasures through secret walls and platforming puzzles. If you get stuck in the game, check out the video walkthrough and gameplay for the game.

While there are many factors that have gone into this decision (including my lack of skill, the lack of an existing XNA-to-3DS port, the game’s code being too inefficient, and more), the biggest factor is that I was simply a fool for even promising it in the first place, as I had no idea if it was feasible to begin with. When I started the Timespinner Kickstarter, I knew very little about what it would take to run a successful campaign, create an entire game, port that game to several platforms, and get it localized into seven new languages. All I had was determination and hope to make my dreams come true. And, with your support, I was able to succeed!Once the Kickstarter campaign became wildly successful, its momentum and excitement led me to believe that anything was possible- all it would take is hard work! Without even double-checking that it was safe to do, I took a leap of faith to promise the console ports (PS4, Vita, and finally 3DS). By a stroke of fate, I was able to deliver the PS4 and Vita ports on my own (even though the Vita port’s initial poor performance was not well received).

When it came to the 3DS, however, my luck ran out. I am deeply sorry for letting you all down.' - Considering that much better-looking games do exist on the 3DS I call this bs and would've preferred an honest admission that the 3DS is a dead platform and not worth the effort required. I'd also love to see a 3DS version of the game and only found this:'3DS PortUnfortunately, with all of the above work, I haven't had time to start on the 3DS port of the game yet. It is just little ol' me after all! I anticipate I'll be able to start on the 3DS in the next couple of weeks.

Don't worry, I haven't forgotten about this stretch goal! I have the 3DS Devkit ready to go, I just need to use it!I may even be looking at some more platforms to port the game to, too;)'This update is from December 21st 2018 and so far nothing new.

I'm starting to fear that this isn't going to happen at all:/. The reason the dev didn't do it isn't because Timespinner couldn't technically run on the 3DS from a graphics processing perspective, it's because the engine he decided to use, XNA, doesn't support the 3DS.

It would still certainly be technically possible to port this game to 3DS, but it would require a lot more from the dev than just making their game in XNA would - he would literally have to port XNA to 3DS by himself. This would be a complicated and time consuming endeavor that would require a very good understanding of the 3DS hardware to get working correctly with good results. It sucks he promised a 3DS port and didn't deliver. It sucks he promised that he'd do the port without even checking to see if it was even feasible.

What does NOT suck is that he came clean about the whole thing in an up front and honest way already, so pointing fingers about how there must be some -other- reason why he didn't do the port is a little silly.
