The sequel is a welcome return to the original ultra-violent style of game-play, where wasting your opponents or killing all the pedestrians are preferred to actually racing.On the 1st June 2011 the developer re-acquired the rights to the brand and development could commence shortly after.On the 8th May 2012 a project was started to get the game completed the way the fans and developers want it, without the excessive censorship that were applied to the originals.If the funding is successful the game is due to be released around Feb 2013.What do we know so far? Cops will be coming back. We’ll have a variety; standard squad car that’s easily wrecked, APC style that’s harder, and the return of the Oppressor – the very, very nasty cop vehicle!. Carmageddon 2 allows cars to have detachable parts, doors, moving/animated components and the likes. The downloads presented here are stuff I put ingame, either my own models or made by friends, or conversions from other games. Some add-ons might be more complex/finished than others and thus require more CPU power etc.
