Anyways, I was just wondering what do you think it will be like. Such as Skyrim, where you can craft most armors and then improve and enchant them, or do you think it will be more limited then that? I think it will be slightly more limited then Skyrim, though not overly so. Updated on September 2nd, 2013. 82.

Well, for one thing, there's 2 smithing Crafts, Weapon Smith, and Armorer. AFAIK, both will be a lot more like Alchemy. You need the usual stuff to make a Sword, Ingots, and leather, then there's 3, or 4 'Additive' slots to give it effects, like a Whetstone to make it Harder/Sharper, Ice Wraith's Teeth for Cold Damage/Resistance, and so forth. Every new mix you discover gives you experience, so you can't just flood the market with 50,000 Iron Daggers of Banishing.
I believe Enchanting is for Staffs, and Jewelry. I honestly hope that additives can't add magical effects to weapons and armor and that Enchanting encompasses more than just Staves and Jewelry.Smithing additives should be limited to physical application and not magical ones. I can see an additive like whetstone or coal adding a sharpening or hardened effect to weapons and armor but if an additive can add magical effects to items then I see it as being slightly unfair as it would limit what an Enchanter should be capable of.The same with Enchanter.I don't see an Enchanter being able to make Jewelry as it seems more like a smithing thing but I do see them adding a magic gems (maybe rubies, sapphires, etc.) to a piece of jewelry to grant it magical properties. I'm super excited about the crafting system! I can't wait to find a chef's hat and enchant it with fantastic enchantments! I will then don 'Fjurg's Fantastic Flap Jack Hat' with some bitching Templar armor and slaughter my foes!and make sweet rolls. I didn't bother to read the whole article (link above, same as the video) but I'll share an excerpt with you:'.Paul crafted the axe using iron ingots and another ingredient, but then went crazy with the additives. The result was an Iron Battleaxe of Undead Bane and Lightning'.The article goes on to talk about other stuff but I didn't notice much info on enchanting so I'm not sure how that fits into the big picture.
