Endless Online Private Servers
May 19 Update.This post was written to address the speculation that's currently going on within the Endless Online community.What happened to Endless Online?Back in August of 2015, Endless Online was shut down by the owner, Vult-r, after a member of the community acquired full control of the server database. He did this by creating a fake email address pretending to be Vult-r, contacting the server administration team who, foolishly, handed over the server details along with the database information.Following this was huge abuse which inevitably ruined the server. Vult-r informed the community of the database hijack and stated the server will temporarily be shut down until further notice. Nothing has happened since.About a dozen or so members of the community acquired a copy of the Endless Online database before the server was taken offline. This was eventually deciphered and all personal information belonging to players (usernames, passwords, emails) were obtained.So. Is Endless Online down for good?The official server?

However, you can still play EO.Essentially, one member of the EO community, well known for his huge contribution towards the creation of Endless Online private servers, had a copy of the database before the hijack.He used the leaked database to create a 'Clone Server', acting as a backup for the main database. All previous usernames, passwords, characters and items were kept exactly the way they were before the server hijack and very quickly the community moved to the EO clone, the only difference being the staff.As he EO clone grew and more players joined, the botting problems were removed along with level restrictions, and the amount of experience monsters previously gave players was doubled to help balance out the issues new players faced. The EO clone server has quickly become the most popular 'private server', although many players who I've spoken to don't actually see it as a private server, but more as the main server with the previous issues fixed.How can I play the EO clone?You can find all download links and setup information in the EO Discord.
Endless Online & EOMixNothing new concerning Endless Online or EOMix to report on. We're headed into 2018 now and still the official game and it's server are dead/MIA with no information on what the future may hold. Anything is possible. For now it seems the private server community surrounding the game has maintained and even grown. If anything changes EOMix will be here, as always, to let you know.
